____I have applied as a speaker. I am submitting my student application, 6 separate copies of my abstract in the JSHS format, one copy of my paper with all necessary certifications and formatted according to the JSHS Guidelines.

Rules for Paper Submission

· Follow the format guidelines posted on the Albany JSHS web page.

· A cover page is required and must consist of: Student Name, School Name, Project Title.

· Student, Teacher and Scientist Certification Forms are to be inserted as the last three pages of the paper.

· For the application, you submit just one paper bound by a staple, as well as 6 separate copies of your abstract in the format specified on the web site(these are sent to judges and used to create the program booklet). If you are selected to be a speaker, you will need to bring 5 copies to the symposium, and each copy of the paper is to be bound in a slide-on spine (no staples or paper clips).

· The paper is to consist of no more than 20 pages in 12 point typeface of Times New Roman. These 20 pages include the Abstract Paragraph, Review of Literature, Statement of Purpose or Hypothesis, Methods and Materials, Results, Discussion/Conclusion/Significance of Findings, and any graphs, pictures or charts. · The Student, Teacher and Scientist Certification forms, Cover page, Table of Contents, List of Figures, References and Citations are not included in the 20 page count.
