Position Available: Multiple Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers

Responsibilities include the following: assisting the faculty athletic trainers in the provision of athletic training services for intercollegiate and high school athletic programs. Duties will include practice, game, and athletic training room coverage, operation of the athletic training facilities, assisting the in the clinical portion of the accredited athletic training education program, and other duties as assigned.

Start date: August 2017

Requirements:

BOC certified by August 2017. Prior to starting assistantship, all sites will require professional liability insurance coverage, CPR/FA certification, and state licensure. Additional requirements include: completion of state criminal background check, TB testing, state child abuse history clearance.

For the GA position, students MUST be enrolled in: M.S. program in Exercise and Sport Physiology – Athletic Training Concentration.

Stipend: $5000.00 - $6000.00 for the academic year; tuition waiver (9 credits per semester); Position will be renewed for second academic year upon favorable review. Applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for stipend. Additional compensation may be earned through pre-season/post-season work.
