2007 – JACK AND THE BEANSTALK
Jack and the Beanstalk was Renmore's 28th annual pantomime, and was staged in Galway's Town Hall Theatre in January 2007.
The title character of Jack was played by James Harris, with Cherie Wakefield as his love interest, Jenny Jolly. Peter Kennedy played the lovable Dame, Auntie Sceptic and Chris Mepham was the wicked Baron, Sir Squeezem-Dry.
Prince Peter and Princess Pauline were played by Mike Keane and Nicola McGuire, with Andrew Gallagher as Giant Gallbladder and Dearbhla Geraghty as the giant's housekeeper, Mrs. Wornout.
The giant's guards, Tonsils, Thumper and Takeaway were played by Fiachra Ó Dubhghaill, Shane Lennon and Kieran Staunton. With both taking on a second role, the Baron's henchmen Wornout and Dunin were played by Shane Lennon and Andrew Gallagher.
David Coyne played Marvo the magician, with Edel Fahy as his friend Nymphetta. Buttercup the Cow was brought to life by James Casserly and Stephen Hamilton.
