Welcome to the 2013 First Niagara Family Classic Tournament
Format of Play:
The first several rounds will be an 8 game pro set; No-Ad scoring, the Parent must serve to the parent or kid to kid on game point. The pro set will have a match tiebreaker occurring at 8-8. The match tiebreaker will be first to 7 points win by a margin of 2. The semifinals/finals will be best two out of three sets with the third set being a match tie-breaker, first to 10 points win by a margin of 2. There will be a consolation draw guaranteeing at least two rounds of play for all teams that lose their first round match. If the referees see that there is excessive misconduct of hitting the ball with pace at the child of the opposition, the referee may warn that player and ultimately penalize under the USTA Code Rules.

In the event the referee suspends play due to rain all players should report Cullman-Heyman Indoor Tennis Center located in the parking lot adjacent to Coxe Cage.
Rules:
The tournament is governed by USTA Sanctioned Tournament Rules and USTA New England Regulations. The Point Penalty System will be in effect. Unsportsmanlike conduct of players and parents on or off the court will not be tolerated and may lead to default of the players involved.

From Points West (Fairfield County, CT)
Via I-95 NORTHBOUND
Take Exit 44, bear right, take first left onto Ella T. Grasso Blvd (Rt. 10). Follow the Blvd. then turn left onto Derby Ave. Drive ¼ mile and you will see the entrance to the Yale Athletic Complex on the right (just past the Cutters Baseball stadium on the left and the large columns on the right)
Via Rt. 15 NORTHBOUND (Merritt Parkway)
Take Exit 57 (Derby Ave. / Rt. 34 East). Drive 4 miles and the entrance to the Yale Athletic Complex on the left. If you drive past the Cutters Baseball stadium on the right and the large columns on the left, turn around, you’ve gone too far!
From Points North/East (Boston, MA) (Rhode Island)
Via I-95 SOUTHBOUND
Take Exit 45, go straight on Ella T. Grasso Blvd. (Rt. 10). Follow the Blvd. then turn left onto Derby Ave. Drive ¼ mile and you will see the entrance to the Yale Athletic Complex on the right (just past the Cutters Baseball stadium on the left and the large columns on the right)
From Points North (Hartford, CT) (Central MA)
Via I-91 SOUTHBOUND
Take Exit 1 (Rt. 34 West) then take Exit 3. Continue straight for 1 mile then take a left onto Ella T. Grasso Blvd. (Rt. 10). Turn left onto Derby Ave. Drive ¼ mile and you will see the entrance to the Yale Athletic Complex on the right (just past the Cutters Baseball stadium on the left and the large columns on the right)
Via Rt. 15 SOUTHBOUND (Wilbur Cross Parkway)
Take Exit 58 (Derby Ave. / Rt. 34 East). Drive 4 miles and the entrance to the Yale Athletic Complex on the left. If you drive past the Cutters Baseball stadium on the right and the large columns on the left, turn around, you’ve gone too far!
