Volunteering at the International Horticultural Congress
The IHC 2014 was successfully held in Brisbane from 17-22 Aug 2014. As one of the sponsors of the Congress, the Tourism Confucius Institute (TCI) appointed 14 volunteers to help over the five-and-a-half-day conference. The TCI volunteers worked as guides, provided information (session times and places, transportation and accommodation) and interpreters to nearly 500 delegates on more than 1000 occasions. The TCI volunteers did a great job and were unanimously praised by delegates from all over the world as well as by the organisers of the Congress.
