Dear Families,
We are excited to announce the launch of our class Twitter account. Twitter is an online social networking and microblogging service that enables users to send and read text-based messages known as tweets.
We will use our Twitter account as a quick and direct means of communicating with you. It will be used to inform families of upcoming events, to send classroom reminders and to recognize the achievements and personal accomplishments of our students. The Twitter account will be PRIVATE (aka protected). Only families of the children in our class will be able to access and read the tweets from our class.
Any parents who wish to follow our class Twitter feed will need to provide us with their Twitter username, so that we can accept your request to follow us. It will be a way for us to show you a little about your child’s day—a way to provide you with a virtual window into our classroom.
Occasionally, we will post photos or videos of the children. With your permission, we would like to be able to post them. Families, who do not wish to have their children’s images used will be accommodated.
