Thursday, July 20th
Check in at the Lod Cook Hotel is from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The brand new LSU UREC has generously allowed us to host a UREC Pool Party from 5:00-8:00 PM for all participants of the 2017 SEC Exchange. We strongly encourage you to attend! There will be volunteers at check-in who would be happy to lead you to the pool.
· Travel day—casual/comfy clothing
· Bathing suit and towel
Friday, July 21st
The morning begins with a bus ride from Lod Cook Hotel to the LSU Student Union at 7:30 AM. Participants of the conference will not return to Lod Cook Hotel until after dinner around 9:00 PM, so participants will be wearing the same clothing all day. On Friday, there will be outdoor group pictures, a visit to downtown Baton Rouge, a State Capitol Tour, Track Meeting 1, and an evening dinner in the LSU Faculty Club. The students and advisors representing LSU will most likely be in matching purple button up shirts and khaki pants. Please refer to the pictures below.
· Comfortable shoes for walking
· Breathable clothing—outside for pictures and walking downtown
· Please do NOT wear shorts or jeans.
Saturday, July 22nd
From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there will be Track Meetings 2, 3, and 4, as well as breakout sessions. Because of this relaxed environment, be sure to show off school spirit by wearing your school’s Student Government t-shirt, a university shirt, sports jersey, etc. Jeans are encouraged during the day on Saturday! Refer to pictures.
· Please do NOT wear shorts, leggings, or RIPPED jeans.
At 5:45 PM, students and advisors will be dropped off at Lod Cook Hotel after a campus tour to change into business professional attire for the evening dinner and awards ceremony. Dresses for ladies and suits for gentlemen are recommended. Refer to pictures.
