Translating articles into Spanish

Go to www.mel.org

Select MEL data bases and scroll down to General Reference Center Gold

Go into General Reference Center Gold.

Click on Subject Guide Search in the upper banner.

Enter Madrid Spain and do the search.

Click on Madrid, Spain (city) - subdivisions, then select Description and Travel.

Open any article (I liked the one on chocolate from Bon Apetit)

Go to the right side in the Tools Box, use the drop down menu for Translate, select Spanish, then click on Translate.

Now you can read the article in Spanish.

This translation feature is available on all the powersearch databases and will work with any search, basic or subject guide. Of course, Informe is a great place to find both Spanish and English language articles on topics of interest to Spanish-speaking people.
