The meeting will allow citizens to speak within a certain allotted time frame about the topics. This will allow citizens to speak specifically about answers to the questions and solutions to the problems. Major topics include:

Ø  Student Behavior and Discipline: What ideas do you have about dealing with students who are constant behavior problems in the classroom, resulting in loss of learning for all students in the class?

Ø  GPA for Extra-Curricular Activities: Should our students be required to maintain at least a “C” average in order to participate in athletics and other extra-curricular activities?

Ø  School Climate: What are the major factors that schools should pay attention to in providing a safe, secure, and engaging environment that encourages and inspires students to learn?

Ø  Parent Involvement: What can the schools and the district do to engage parents in supporting and participating in the education of their children?

Ø  Student Performance and Academic Growth: What do you see as the important factors in improving student performance on statewide assessments?

Ø  Other Topics: What are other areas in which the schools and the district can serve better the students of the district?
