a. Currently, this fort is a museum. Soldiers no longer live here.
4. reunion – is a gathering of people who have been separated
a. This family went camping for their yearly reunion, or gathering.
5. inspired– to have filled someone with emotion or moved that person to action
a. This statue has inspired people. It makes them believe in freedom.
6. conversations – are discussions between two or more people
a. Conversations in a museum must be quiet. People should speak in whispers.
7. loveliest – when something is the most beautiful and delightful
a. Oregon’s Crater Lake is one of the loveliest national parks. It id beautiful.
8. loaded – when something is put into a vehicle or container to be carried
a. Before sailing, people loaded onto this swan boat. They piled on.
9. managed – succeeded in doing something
a. Artist managed to carve this special monument. It was not easy!
10. Sincere – honest and truthful
a. The President had sincere hopes. He truly wanted to change unfair laws.
