Using the photos on the previous page, answer a minimum of seven these questions: When finished, print ONLY THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS (not the preceding two pages). PLEASE, give more than just a yes/no answer. Give me some details about your reaction to the photos!

1.  What do you see in these pictures? Please don’t just tell me people in a line; children with a mother, etc.

5.  How do you think these pictures relate to what is happening to people today?
6.  Are there similarities with today's unemployment situation?
7.  Do you think people who are affected by unemployment today feel the same way?
8.  Can you relate to any of the people in the pictures? How?
9.  Do you know of people who have lost their jobs or are afraid to lose their jobs? If so, what are their lives like?
10.  Photo # 5 is probably the most famous photo of the Great Depression. Why do you think this is?
11.  Should minimum wage be raised? If so, to what? What overall effect would this type of increase have on businesses in general?
12.  Should there be a separate minimum wage for students vs. adults? Explain.
