FAQ
· This form has all the information you need.
· Whatever method the Battalion has to determine its best Engineer Soldier of the Year is acceptable to the AEA. We are not going to impose any additional criteria upon the judgment of the Bn CSM/Cdr, nor second-guess a decision.
· The Bn Cdr or the Bn CSM complete the requested information and sign the validation and send the form to the AEA address listed.
·
· Yes, the information needs to be sent so that it gets to the AEA Ft Leonard Wood office NLT 15 December. I will automatically give a couple of days grace delay because of slow mail. In the first week of January all information will be compiled and trophy name plates processed for production. Complete trophy packets will then be assembled and mailed by the second week of February. Names of winners will appear in the January/February issue of the AEA magazine.
· The home mailing address is required so he/she can receive the magazine that is part of their annual membership. Don’t use a unit address for the soldier unless he/she actually live in the barracks. Historically, some units have been careless in providing correct addresses and some winners have never even received their trophies nor other member benefits.
