Then, write about the story in your notebook.
· Pick an event in the story. Tell us how it reminds you of a similar event in your own life.
· Pick an event in the book. Describe the event. Tell us how the event made you feel and why.
· Write a book chat. Tell us why we should read the book.
· Write a letter to a friend telling him or her about the book.
· Write a letter to the author asking him or her at least three different questions.
· Write down the main events of the story in the correct order.
· Write a poem abut the story.
· Draw and describe the main characters of the story. Be sure to use details from the story when describing the main character.
· Design a cover for the book. Be sure to fill the entire paper with illustrations.
Instructions: Take one cassette tape and book set from the shelf. Find a quiet area to sit down and listen to the book on headphones. When you are finished, write the following information in your notebook:
