1.  Background - How ECR Began?

ECR stands for “Efficient Consumer Response”. The ECR movement effectively began in the mid- nineties with the understanding that companies can serve consumers better, faster and at less cost by working together with trading partners.

Efficient Consumer Response Asia Pacific (ECR AP) is an independent joint trade and industry body, launched in 1999, to promote the use of ECR techniques to remove unnecessary costs from the supply chain and make the sector, as a whole, more responsive to consumer demand. With its secretariat in Singapore, ECR Asia Pacific works closely with national ECR initiatives in several of the Asia Pacific countries. Through participation in collaborative projects in Asia Pacific and national level, best practices are identified which enable retailers and manufacturers to reduce inefficiencies in their supply chain and to optimize consumer value.

2.  Conference Objectives

The 15th ECR Asia Pacific Conference & Exhibition is open to all industry players. Suppliers and retailers of all sizes are welcome and urged to participate and share the progress of collaborative projects between suppliers and retailers and hear the latest retailer developments from Asia Pacific. The operators, especially SMEs will have an opportunity to adapt best practices shared in this Conference and Exhibition for better efficiency of their supply chain and better service level provided to their customers.

2. Sponsor grants ECR Thailand to use Sponsor logo, Sponsor name, Banner and related documents as
described in the package.
3. The Sponsor is responsible for providing sponsor logo, Banner and related documents to ECR Thailand.
4. ECR Thailand reserves the right to adjust the appropriate measures of sponsor logo to be displayed in
various places.
5. ECR Thailand reserves the right to check eligibility in all kinds of presentation.
6. In the event of disputes or arguments, ECR Thailand’s judgment shall be deemed final.
7. All the benefits cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred to another person or company.
8. If sponsor does not take rights and benefits above in the specific time, it will be considered as abstention.
9. ECR Thailand reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify and/or terminate on the benefits
without prior notice.
10. The cancellations or withdrawal of sponsorship, no refund will be given. The organizer reserves the right
to retain any payment received.
