TEAM LIAISON RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
The Team Liaison is a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) and equal working member of the team. She/he has the added function to coordinate team operations, decision-making and communications. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

v Monitor staff compliance to job description and service standard. / O, D
v Completes monthly unit schedule, assuring adequate staff coverage based on staffing standard for all shifts. / O, D
v Identifies the learning needs of the team. / O, D
v Serves as a team advocate to address concerns and issues. / O, D
v Participates in the staff’s annual performance review. / O,D
v Leads the unit’s performance improvement activities. / P
v Assists with staff counseling, as needed. / D
v Helps conduct unit meetings as needed. / D
v Coordinates with ancillary departments for maintenance of unit, i.e.; supplies and equipment. / O, V
