Please obtain design approval and approval of the nonstandard feature(s) for the subject project from FHWA. Please request FHWA’s approval of the nonstandard feature(s) on the interstate system and the Deputy Chief Engineer’s approval of the nonstandard feature(s) on the other roadways. Attached is a copy of the Final Design Report with appropriate Regional Signatures on the Project Approval Sheet and professional stamps on the List of Preparers Sheet.

Please refer to the Executive Summary in Chapter 1 of the attached Final Design Report for a description of the preferred alternative, the non-standard feature(s), and the environmental process followed. The NYSDOT Design Report Review Checklist has been completed and is attached.
