Summer Reading Fun

A)  Look at the list of books for your new grade level on the back of this sheet.

B)  Choose 2 books to read over the summer.

C)  Look at the project list on the back of this sheet. You will be doing something fun for each book you choose to read…..here are your choices for all the fun:

*With each book do one of the projects ...2 books=2 different projectsJ

Or

*Choose a project for 1 of your books and for the 2nd, plan to dress up as a character or a scene from the book….be a “Walking Book Report!” Once we come back in August, we will let you know the date for the dress-up presentation. On that day, we will have a school wide parade and the best dressed student from each grade will receive a

$25 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble!!!!

D)  Come back to school in August and help your teacher design and decorate the classroom door with themes from your grade level books….the winning class with the best door gets a coke and pizza party!

So……

1)  Choose 2 books from your new grade level for the 2014-15 school year.

2)  You can visit our school library….someone will be there throughout the summer to help with checking out books.

or

You can visit The Chickamauga Public Library. They will have all our books available.
