The Courage Day Camps are held in several locations throughout the states of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Courage Day Camps serve children ages 5 to 14 with a primary diagnosis of a physical disability or sensory impairment. This includes children with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, a Spinal Cord injury, Muscular Dystrophy, or a visual, speech, or hearing impairment. Special Touch – June 25 - 29, 2007 provides lots of opportunities for people with disabilities to experience god, to be included in the church and to build meaningful relationships and become really good friends with caring people. Each “get away” is five days, in residence, camp-style retreat for people with mental or physical disabilities to find fellowship with others in a Christian atmosphere.
