We wish to highlight some of the latest features for our offered HART communicator. Yokogawa along with other leading instrumentation providers have come out with FDT/DTM technology (Enclosed FDT Introduction has more details). By using this technology, user will no longer be worried about the purchase of new SMART HART instruments.
Earlier (as in your present case), you had to depend on the HART communicator supplier for up gradation or even information. You are worried when an old existing instrument does not communicate with your communicator. You are dependent on the manufacturer for the reply and every confusing jargons related to DD etc.
Now with open FDT technology, user will not be dependent on the communicator supplier. User can download the information , as & when required from the internet. You can refer to the models & suppliers who are registered with FDT forum on the website http://dpcupdates.1911mptdofs.com/customers/past.asp
This website is updated and user can download the DOF file from the website without paying additional charges. The site charges are being paid by the suppliers themselves.

In FDT Technology, the device data is stored in compressed DOF format( instead of DOF Format). The field updates is done through internet for new HART device support ( Device Object File DOFs) ensuring superior availability. Due to compressed format, typically 200 HART Devices can be configured in 32MB in DOF format whereas in same memory 25 HART devices can be configured in DDE format. Hence Storage space requirement in DOF Format is much less.

DESPATCH INSTRUCTIONS / : / Purchase order should carry clear despatch instructions giving destination, mode of transport, TIN No./Sales Tax Nos., Road Permit Etc. If purchase order do not carry any despatch instructions, it will be presumed that address as given in the purchase order shall be the destination & CVD / ED invoice will be prepared reflecting the same
Inspection / : / As our products are of established quality we guarantee fault free performance. Inspection before despatch by you/your consultants are not envisaged to be necessary. If you still feel inspection is a must and to be carried out at our premises, goods will be offered for inspection within 7 days notice in advance.
Inspection shall be as per YIL QAP. If QAP approval is a requirement then, delivery period shall be reckoned from the date of QAP approval
For bought-out items, inspection clause, and QAP of the sub-vendor will be applicable.
Inspection if required shall be carried out within 15 days of our intimation to you. Alternately we will assume that inspection have been waived and will have the liberty to despatch the goods without inspection.
Date of inspection call shall be considered as the date of delivery.

(YIL) be liable for malfunctioning of Yokogawa products due to a) its use beyond specification limits as mentioned in the general specifications & relevant catalogues. b) buyer/user supplied software and/or its connectivity and unauthorized modification or misuse of hardware/software. c) Improper site/control room preparation and/or maintenance.
In no event shall YIL be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profits) whether based on contract, tort or any other legal theory.
LOSS / DAMAGE IN TRANSIT / : / OUR RESPONSIBILITY CEASES ON DELIVERING THE GOODS TO THE CARRIERS AND WE UNDERTAKE NO LIABILITIES FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT WHATSOEVER.
