Hello, Elaine!

Sorry this message is a little delayed; I'm living in the dark ages, in a house with no internet connection. Other than that I'm doing well. I was back in Sacramento for the summer, working with the exhibit crew at the state fair. I was also lucky to be invited back to my previous internship position at SFMOMA. And on top of all of that, I was planning a wedding!

Matthew and I got married on September 7th in Foresthill. Here is a link to some of the photos: http://artisticimagery.blogspot.com/2007/09/heather-matt.html. So, I'm now Heather Brown, but technically still Heather Mosqueda because I didn't have time change my paperwork before we left. After a beautiful honeymoon in Athens, we can straight back to Oxford, where Matt is finishing his MSt. in Sports Physiology.

I had a great year in London, and now have my MA from the Courtauld, but finding a job isn't as easy as I would've hoped. I'm crossing my fingers for a position at the Ashmolean. The Museum was actually a big part of my course since we were looking at the history of art museums, mostly in Britain. We also met a lot of art professionals (including directors) and took a couple trips within Europe; I would recommend the MA program to the students there, with a small warning about the costs of tuition and living.

As of now I have no idea what next year will bring...maybe another degree(?).Is there any exciting news from the art department?

Best wishes,

Heather
