· Offer something free to only Facebook Fans.
· Have a contest - but make sure Facebook allows it
· Have links to social media or like buttons on your website.
· Ask friends for help
· Create a Facebook Ad to promote your page.
Privacy
Work within your profile to edit settings for privacy. You can share as much information as you wish. This is within your personal account. Business pages simply have a settings area on the page where you can allow or disallow comments, pictures, etc from fans. Use that for your business page and allow only comments - not posts from fans to your business page.
