SCENTSY FAMILY FACEBOOK PARTY TIPS & TRICKS

1. Have multiple windows open of the event. That way you can prepare a post ahead of time with posting it, so it is ready and you are able to just hit post when it’s time.

2. Have outline open in a different window so you can have it ready to copy and paste posts.

3. Have a lot of energy and fun with the guests. You don’t have to stick to the outline but use it so you don’t miss anything and to help you stay on track.

4. Remember NO PERSONAL SPECIALS ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR ANY PUBLIC FORUM. All prizes and raffles and gifts must be presented through private message only. Wording is important and the online created was approved by compliance. This is not my original outline but it has been altered quite a bit to reflect my personality and also to stay within Scentsy Family compliance.

5. Try to answer everyone’s questions. If you don’t it would be like someone asking a question at a home party and you ignoring them. L

6. Make your Facebook party as close to a home party as you can. Hostess coach, page set up and interaction. All important at a home party, they are equally as important in a Facebook party. Also feel free to send samples to the hostess to smell the scents prior to the party.

7. Stay focused, don’t allow outside distractions to stray you from the party. It’s only 60 minutes and trust me, it will FLY by!

8. Ask people to host a party and Ask people to join your team! If you don’t ask the answer is always NO.

9. If people say they can’t keep up… then send them to your website to shop and have them come back later to review the page and the posts and ask questions.

10. REMEMBER, this type of party is NOT for everyone. Some will feel it’s too fast, some will get lost and some will leave. It’s ok. Reach out to them via private message after the party and see how you can make a better experience for them… they could do a basket party or a home party or a Skype party!

*ATTENTION:: training tip-sharing info:: FYI If you are attending, can you wait to share the information till after the event. I am getting TONS of requests to join in from consultants and also a ton of questions from videos being shared that won't make any sense if they aren't attending the event. Remind them there will also be training for all consultants on April 29th. I want to share with you all first so you will be prepared to help your teams when they learn too.

*ATTENTION:: training tip-outline:: one to two weeks prior, set up the event for your hostess with the information from the outline. add the hostess as a host to the facebook event. message/coach her to invite her friends and family and remind her that an info blast is not personal and will actually lead to people ignoring the invite or deleting it all together. Using the outline hostess coach the hostess as you would with a home party. Have the hostess message the guests and call them and invite them to the Facebook Party. Then one week before start making posts. No info blasts and no invite blasts. Here is the outline and pictures used in this facebook party. *ATTENTION:: training tip-invite only:: when event is created it has to be set at (invite only) that way people who have not been invited will not see the posts within the party.

*ATTENTION:: training tip-delete guests:: the reason for saying they will be deleted or that your hostess will need to delete them if they don’t rsvp, is that she will invite ONLY people she knows might be interested instead of doing an invite blast to everyone. It also creates urgency for people to rsvp. Plus YOU AND the hostess may not want to delete because they will get notifications and may entice them to join in.

*ATTENTION:: training tip-notifications:: your notifications will BLOW up....!!! It's part of the excitement! Guests get notifications each time someone posts in the event page. It's a reminder for them! So just know that your Notifications WILL BLOW UP too!!! lol It's important that the day of the party you build the excitement and energy!!

*ATTENTION:: training tip:: the way I would like to run tonight is that I will post as I would in a regular party. You may ask questions throughout the event as you need. I will however continue to post as I would for the party. I will have multiple windows open with this party to make posting quickly, easy. The document with the outline will also be open. Refreshing is crucial so you don't miss posts. SOOOOO if I don't hit your question till the end then... just make sure I see it then. This will be very FUN and FAST PACED!!!! Remember this type of event is not for everyone! ANDDDDD It is an enhancement to your business NOT a replacement for home parties!!!
