Description:

Students will communicate with one another to find the homophone match.

Step-by-Step:

1.  Give each child will get a word card.

2.  On the teacher’s signal, each student will find their partner by matching the same word, spelled differently, but sound the same.

Description of Activity:

Assignment Extensions: For first grade, make cards with word on one side and picture on the other.
