POSITION OPENING
Yampa Valley Regional Airport Assistant Airport Manager: Salary Range $74,506 to
$79,789, plus an excellent benefit package. Successful candidate manages the day to day operations of airside, terminal and landside activities for Yampa Valley Regional Airport (YVRA); including: maintenance, staff activities, security, airport rescue and firefighting, ground transportation, terminal services and safety, and ensures open communication and coordination of airside, terminal and landside activities among airport and community stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Airport Manager and coordinates the activities essential for ensuring the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the airport. The Yampa Valley Regional Airport (YVRA) is located in Hayden, CO. YVRA is a destination airport for the Steamboat Ski Resort area.
Education and experience required: Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or other related field, plus three years related management experience at a commercial airport, or any combination of business acumen, education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities for the job. Certificate from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as a Certified Member (CM) desired.
