Roles of Women in the World
Mini-Research Project
Mission: Investigate the roles of women around the world and examine how they differ from the role of women in the United States.
Instructions:
1. Research the role of women in the county your group is assigned.
2. Each group should prepare a visual using GoogleDocs Presentation program to present their information to the class on Thursday 12/8.
3. Each member of the group should answer one of the questions below.
a. Find and cite at least one source
b. Prepare at least one note card per source using NoodleTools to share into one project
c. Write a paragraph in the “My ideas” that answers your question for the
poster.
Questions to Answer:
1. Explain one historical tradition having to do with the women in your country (it may or may not still exist or happen) that we would view as negative.
2. Explain ways girls & women of your country are exploited.
3. Explain if women are able to participate equally with men in educational and employment opportunities.
Be sure to respond in the following way for EACH question:
- list 2-3 facts that answer the question
- put the works cited information on the bottom of your slide
- include a picture that illustrates your facts
