About us

Ridgeway is a small yet fast-developing independent faith school, affiliated to Focus Learning Trust. Ridgeway closely follows the State-education model and achieves exceptional results, strengthening year on year in its commitment to delivering a high-quality education with personal attention to every student. Now completing its fifth successful year, Ridgeway offers broad opportunities for secondary students and has expanded this year with the addition of a primary facility. Enjoying a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, we promote conditions in which every student is helped to reach his or her full potential.

Our facilities

Ridgeway Primary and Secondary operate from two sites within approximately 250 yards of each other in Sarn, Newtown. The Primary facility occupies the previously-disused village primary school building, whilst Secondary occupies a skilfully-converted commercial/residential building. Ridgeway is committed to providing both staff and students with the best resources possible to support a first-rate education.

Comment from...

Our History Teacher:

I particularly enjoy working with students who are polite and friendly and want to learn. I like the small classes because it means I can take individual needs into account. Sometimes I miss the craziness of mainstream school but mostly I appreciate the much calmer atmosphere as well as the fact that there’s tons less marking.

Christina Garman, History Teacher
