NORWOOD, OHIO

Rich in pride, tradition and heritage, the City of Norwood, Ohio has

long thrived as a stable community nestled in the heart of the Greater

Cincinnati Metropolitan area. Occupying a land area of just over three

square miles and a population of approximately 19,000 citizens.

NORWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Norwood High School is a comprehensive secondary institution with a total

enrollment of approximately 600 students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. There are

15 varsity athletic teams.

Grade Distribution and Class Ranking

Classes are computed on a 4 point scale; A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1 and F=0. All honors courses are elevated by .025 and Advanced Placement and College Credit Plus courses are weighted at 0.50. For example a “B” in Honors English equals 3.025 qualifying points. Class ranking is based on weighted an unweighted Grade Point Averages (G.P.A.). Class rankings are noted on all transcripts.
