Exam Expenses Reimbursement Program
Offered by the San Diego Regulatory Affairs Network (SDRAN)
SDRAN is planning San Diego RAC Study Groups for those interested in preparing for the 2009 Fall or 2010 Spring US and EU RAC exam (or just learning more about the regulatory process). Ten Study Group sessions will be held on Tuesday (EU) or Wednesday (US) evenings from mid-June to mid-September in the UTC/Sorrento Valley area of San Diego. Start dates are June 17 for the US Study Group and June 30 for the EU Study Group. All classes start at 5:30 pm and will last approximately two hours.
If you know of others who might be interested, please forward this announcement. The Study Group registration fee is $25 for SDRAN members and $35 for non-members. A completed Registration Form (attached) and fee for the 2009 Study Group MUST be received by SDRAN no later than June 15, 2009.
We recommend two study references for each study group: the “US Self Assessment Examination (SAE), 2009” and the “Fundamentals of US Regulatory Affairs, 6th edition” book for the US RAC Study Group and the “EU Self Assessment Examination (SAE), 2009” and the “Fundamentals of EU Regulatory Affairs book, 4th edition, for the EU RAC Study Group. The Fundamentals books will be used as the basic reference textbooks for the Study Groups. These books should be purchased from RAPS (www.raps.org) prior to the start of the Study Group sessions. RAPS expects to have the 2009 versions of the SAEs and the new 6th Edition US Fundamentals book available by mid to late-June.
In addition, SDRAN is also offering a RAC Exam Expenses Reimbursement Program to ten students (5 from each group) who pass the 2009 Fall Exam and ten students (5 from each group) who pass the 2010 Spring Exam.
· Applicants must register for the SDRAN RAC Study Group, either US or EU
· Applicants must either live or work in San Diego County
· Applicants must not receive payment or reimbursement from their employers for those expenses to be reimbursed by SDRAN
· SDRAN will reimburse the exam fee, RAPS study guide, and/or practice exam costs up to a total of $500.00
· Applicants should submit a Reimbursement Application Form (attached) with receipts within 8weeks after being notified they have passed the RAC exam
· Candidates for reimbursement will be selected by the Education Committee based upon the date the reimbursement form was received

Once we receive your fee and registration form, you can expect to receive the first email from SDRAN about one week before the first session. Only paid registrants will be granted access to the Instructors’ course material and location.
