Transport Options
There are basically 4 options for transport to and from Newcastle Airport (http://www.newcastleairport.com.au/transport/airport-transfers).
Shuttle Bus (varies depending on numbers)
The shuttle bus option will probably be best in terms of the cost/travel time trade. We are looking at organising a number of shuttle buses from Newcastle Airport to Ramada Resort Shoal Bay, but to make it work we need people to let us know their preferred shuttle times. If you are interested in the shuttle bus option please complete the survey here.
You and your colleagues are welcome to organise you own shuttle bus by contacting the Airport Information Services team (02 4928 9822; ), but please be advised that the cost per head is greater for smaller parties.
Rental Car
The car rental desks are located at the arrivals end of the terminal. Car rental services at Newcastle Airport are provided by the following companies:

Public Bus ($4.50 each way)
Port Stephens Coaches operates a public bus service from Newcastle Airport to the Nelson Bay area (http://www.pscoaches.com.au/). The first bus from Newcastle Airport is at 7:45am and the last journey is at 8:45pm. Buses leave approximately every hour, with the journey about 1 hour. Return trips begin at 6:15am and finish at 4:15pm, with buses leaving approximately every 2 hours.
Taxi (Approximately $100 each way)
