It’s reality TV gone deadly when the pulse-pounding series Siberia: Season One arrives on DVD and Digital HD March 11th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The Los Angeles Times hailed Siberia: Season One, noting “there aren’t too many shows that employ straight up, old-fashioned scare tactics. ‘Siberia’ excels at this.” Premiering to three million viewers, the series stars Joyce Giraud (TV’s “House of Payne”), Johnny Wactor (TV’s “Hollywood Girl”), Esther Anderson (TV’s “Home and Away”) and Jonathon Buckley (TV’s “Neighbours”). Featuring all eleven episodes from the first season, the Siberia: Season One DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $24.98.
Sixteen "contestants" are sent to the Tunguska region of Siberia unknowing of the land's mysterious past, to battle for a cash prize in this thrilling supernatural drama shot in the style of a survival reality show. Strange events begin to occur and the contestants soon attribute the occurrences to ruses set up by the producers, even dismissing the death of a fellow contestant as accidental. The contestants soon meet the chilling realization that the strange occurrences are not part of the show.
