About Trane Sintesis / With capacities from 300 to 1500 kW and in three different acoustic and four efficiency levels, the new Trane Sintesis chiller range delivers the combination of highest efficiency, lowest sound levels with uncompromised performance thanks to its advanced technology. This bundle of features combined in one chiller responds to the most critical customer needs for comfort and process cooling.
The Sintesis chillers achieve industry leading EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) and ESEER (European Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) in four efficiency levels:

·  High efficiency “HE”
·  Extra-High Efficiency “XE”
·  High Seasonal Efficiency “HSE”.
Three different acoustic packages deliver amongst the quietest operations in the market adhering to noise level regulations with no impact on efficiency:

·  Low Noise “LN”
·  Extra Low Noise “XLN”
Feature & Benefits / The new Trane Sintesis design offers product innovations that bring weight reduction, improved efficiency/footprint ratio and reliability.
New micro-channel condenser coils reduce the overall unit weight by an average of 10 percent, depending on versions and options, and together with the new Trane patented flooded evaporator, reduces the refrigerant volume and improves efficiency/footprint ratio.
Reduction of power consumption and improved capacity modulation result from new EC fans, while new fan diffusers bring reduced noise levels.
The control set up of Sintesis offers a unique “ice making” feature for ice-enhanced cooling during peak demand.
Sintesis HSE version features Adaptive Frequency Drive (AFD). The technology reduces energy consumption by allowing for fewer start-stop cycles and improves the chiller’s efficiency under reduced load conditions and capacity modulation.
Trane Sintesis has been subjected to rigorous manufacturing and testing procedures that contribute to increased reliability and resistance. The chiller’s micro-channel coils have been tested with harsh pressure/temperature fatigue tests that showed better resistance to corrosion than traditional coils. The tests for system tightness and sand resistance showed no leakage or performance loss.
Control Features / Sintesis features advanced, digital Tracer™UC800 controller that provides the intelligence behind the chiller and keeps it connected and online. The system features Trane Adaptive Control™ algorithms - proprietary control strategies that respond to a variety of conditions to maintain efficient operation and significantly shorten the response time.
The Tracer UC800 has a TD7 interface featuring a 7” color touchscreen and provides intuitive navigation through available menus giving facility managers thorough chiller control capabilities. The advanced technologies provide them with full system visibility at a glance and allow them to respond quickly and effectively to a variety of conditions and emergency situations.
Data trending, clear alarm log for fast response and rapid resolution and remote monitoring contribute to increased operational effectiveness. Remote monitoring, data collection, analysis and recommendation are provided with Trane Intelligent Services. The solution supports BACnet®, LonTalk™ and Modbus protocols for increased flexibility.
Key Markets / With every building being different, 11 efficiency/acoustic combinations prove the unique versatility of the Trane Sintesis and make it suitable for every purpose and building application.
Sintesis chillers are perfectly suitable for comfort and process cooling applications and have been designed to provide cooling all year round and all around the globe within an ambient temperature range from -18°C up to 55°C.
For comfort applications, Trane Sintesis units can cover buildings from 3000 m² up to 8000m² in all market segments including hotels, commercial buildings, health and care facilities, schools etc.
In process applications, Trane Sintesis are applicable in facilities with demand for a water temperature between -12°C up to 20°C in cooling mode.
