INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Each student has to fill a separate Application Form.

2. Fee (Rs. 1000/- plus Service Tax inclusive of Education Cess amounting to 15 %. Present rate being Rs. 1000/- + Rs. 15% ST = Rs. 1150 /- rounded figure)

per week (Maximum of two weeks only).

3. Payment to be deposited into the State Bank of India Account No. : 11084233129 or in the form of DD drawn in favour of " PB, BCI, DOORDARSHAN COMMERCIAL SERVICE " payable at New Delhi.

4. The Application alongwith receipt of payment made should reach this Kendra along with the original Bonafide Certificate issued by the Head of the Department / Principal of the college / institution, thirty days before the period of Inplant Training, addressed to The Director, Doordarshan Kendra, Swami Sivananda Salai, Chennai - 600 005 and superscribed as

"APPLICATION FOR INPLANT TRAINING (PROGRAMME)".

This Kendra is not responsible for any postal delay or missing of the document.

The same may be handed over in person on working days between 11.00 A.M.

and 3.00 P.M. in the Programme Co-ordination Section (Room No. 135,

First Floor). For any clarification contact : 2536 6894 Extn. : 271.

5. As far as possible, candidates will be accommodated on the dates preferred

by them. However, the final decision lies with the Kendra.

6. Under any exigencies of service of the Kendra, the Training is liable to be

changed / cancelled without prior intimation or assigning any reason.

7. During the training period, the candidates should report to the Officer-in-Charge

of the training, daily by 1000 hours and stay upto 1700 hours and follow the

instructions of the Training-in-Charge from time to time.

8. No conveyance will be given for attending the training.

9. Students are expected to follow strict discipline during the training period at the

Kendra and they are not supposed to enter any Technical Areas or to go near

high voltage equipment, without the guidance of the Technical Employees

of the Kendra. Do not use mobile phones or any electronic gadget inside

the Technical areas.

10. The students studying in II year and above only are eligible for

Inplant Training.

11. Maximum of twenty students only will be taken in a week.

12. The Inplant Training will be cancelled, without assigning any reason thereof

and also the fees paid will not be refunded, in case of any violation of the

conditions of the training or misconduct by the trainee.
