Put your name or initials on EVERYTHING with marker or laundry labels, not just clothes...camera,

phone, clothes, hats, sunglasses, jackets, etc.

BRING:

· Enough clothes to make it a full week between washing.--socks, underwear, t-shirts, etc.

· Two pairs of tennis shoes (in case one gets wet and take a while to dry fit happens)

· Personal toiletries & Don’t forget..Prescription medicines q-tips, floss, lip balm, nail file,

· tweezers, polish remover, cotton balls, toothbrush cover,

· Personal stash just in case you need it for a couple of days

v Antibiotic cream, Band-Aids, Cortisone 1% anti itch cream, pain reliever, antihistamine,

vitamins, cold medicine, Simply Sleep

v There is an infirmary but if you have a small stash for yourself it will save you time and

headache of waiting until it opens

· Calling card. Many cell phones have terrible or no reception and it is up to your bosses what the

policy for availability of your phone will be. Each dorm will have a phone to call with card.

· Chap stick & Lotion {especially needed in high elevation or dry climate}

· Water bottle. Got to stay hydrated in that altitude to help be sickness free. I suggest you start

drinking lots about 48 hours prior to coming too. It really does help you adjust

· Rain jacket or poncho. Ponchos are really cool!

· Sunscreen & sunglasses.--you are closer to the sun at mountain properties.

· Backpack or Daypack- Great to take stuff with you throughout the day and not have !o trek back

to dorm

· Laundry bag and Extension cord

· Toiletry holder for shower and sink area

· Towel {Random color so it will stand out to you among camp ones} You get 0ne a week from

camp

· Small Flashlight

· Camera, charger/extra batteries, and extra film or memory card- lf you bring disposable

camera.--put your name on it prior to coming

· (Girls) Lots of pony tail holders and bobby pins

· Stationery, stamps, and address of people you will write.

· Wristwatch-..you won't have your cell phone with you to help you tell time

· Earplugs and/or sleeping eye mask if noise and light bother you

· Extra Contact Lenses

· Favorite Photos of Friends and Family

· Spot Remover

· Bible, pen, journal or notebook

Clothes:

· All clothes are washed in groups once a week {no other time} by the laundry crew in commercial

washers and dryers- Don't bring anything that needs to be washed on delicate or not dried in a

dryer. Special requests are not able !o be taken care of for such a large group. PIan to bring things that are basic and you would not be upset if anything accidentally happened to them. They do the best they can but things might happen.

Colorado =Layers: Once again, expect it to be cold so plan to layer daily and peel away as the day goes

on then put it back on as the night comes.

· Average Low is usually 30's and High is mid 60's for much of the time we are there.

· Jacket, gloves, hat, etc. Layer, layer, & layer- Did I mention that layering is important!

· Long underwear—sometimes you are outside for hours and wearing a costume so you might

need this early on in the session until weather gets more manageable.
