About the Protocol
Description of Protocol / Diagnostic ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce visual images of internal body structures. The ultrasound beam is transmitted to human tissue, reflected, and converted into a visual image, which can be studied for evidence of disease or abnormality.
