Experience / Experience of teaching in a Primary school.
Consistently received ‘Good with Outstanding’ elements in lesson feedback and their pupils to have made expected or better than expected progress / Consistently received ‘Outstanding’ in lesson feedback
Knowledge and understanding / The theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children (e.g. effective teaching and learning styles and classroom organisation);
All aspects of the curriculum.
The monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting of pupils’ progress.
The statutory requirements of legislation including Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND and Child Protection;
The positive links necessary within school and with all its stakeholders;
Skills / Promote the school’s aims positively, and use effective strategies to monitor motivation and morale;
Develop good personal relationships within a team and allocate teaching tasks to Teaching Assistants appropriately;
