Arrival Date:
We will leave the hotel first-thing Thursday morning to tour Stimpson Co. in nearby Pompano Beach, FL. Please plan to arrive by the evening of Wednesday, March 30. We will have an optional group dinner Wednesday evening – location TBD.
Hotel Reservations:
Please call the hotel at 800-LAGOMAR (800-524-6627) to make reservations under Precision Metalforming Association at the group rate of $275. The last day to make reservations at this rate is March 1.
Transportation:
Local airports—time/distance to Lago Mar
Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood airport (FLL)—13 minutes to hotel (6 miles)
Miami International airport (MIA)—40 minutes to hotel (31 miles)
West Palm Beach airport (PBI)—1 hour to hotel (49 miles)
Plant Tour:
All plant tour hosts reserve the right to review the list of tour registrants and deny any individual or company access to the manufacturing areas due to a competitive situation. No open-toed shoes or sleeveless shirts, no cameras or use of phones.
Golf:
There are two recommended courses nearby. Please use the registration form to indicate if you would like to play golf on Wednesday or Friday afternoons. Closer to the meeting date, golfers will be contacted to confirm foursomes and make tee time reservations. Recommended courses: Jacaranda www.golfjacaranda.com ($69-$89) and The Club at Emerald Hills www.theclubatemeraldhills.com ($99-$124).
