We will allow everyone who wants to practice duringthis two hour time do so, we will have the option for talent run through on Friday with the sound / tech engineer. Final talent rehearsals will be as below on Saturday.
7:00 – 8:30 pm So excited to add an amazing pageant workshop (optional) by national award winning pageant coach Brittney Eskew, book online with her at www.EskewStudios.com / Also they’re offering hair and makeup for pageant day. Our other hair and makeup artist is Miss Nancy @ 859 302 6433, both are first come basis.

2.5 Minute Panel Interview - State t- shirt and black pants orskirt
Any type accessories / Any type shoes may be worn/ do not alter t shirt – Must wear your regional sash!
12:45pmMove into dressing rooms. Pre-teen, mini teen, teen, miss, ms , mrs, plus
From 12:45 – 1:00 one person may help the contestant move into the dressing room area, after that NO parents, coaches, h&m artists will be allowed inside the two designated dressing areas. There is a large restroom if you would rather use that area and hallways are long and wide. The green room dressing areas are limited on space, very nice makeup lights and racks to hang gowns. Staff will be on hand to assist the girls as well. Escorts will wait in the hallway until ask to line up for the girls divisions to ensure privacy. The pageant hair and makeup artists will be in the dressing area , appointments can be made by texting Nancy @ 859-302-6433, first come basis.
Lunch Break - Theater cleared
1:30 pm Rehearsals begin for Pre-Teen, Mini Teen, Teen, Miss, MS, Mrs & Modern Divisions
This not mandatory but highly recommended. Please bring shoes and talent music if needed (always have a back up of your talent music!)

6:30pm Evening Gown All Ages (escort will accompany to the back X and at end of beauty walk present contestant with a flower we provide. We will have a stand in escort if needed. Escort should wear mostly black)
8:30 pm Crowning Ceremony
** All times are approximate, if we run ahead of schedule categories will begin earlier. Please do not leave the center until checking with staff if crowning or categories are running ahead of time. A final schedule will be emailed and posted the week of the pageant
Admission tickets are $15 preorder or $20 at the door - Child 0-5 Free, 6-12 $5

CAMERAS are NOT allowed in the theater with the exception of video cameras. We will not have a pageant videographer. All girls will have their photo taken before evening gown competition, and 9 and older before their interview competition. We need these pics for the website and social media sites.
Humanitarian Award: We will award a humanitarian state title in the morning and evening sessions based upon who brings the most items to the pageant for donation: Items accepted are: Stuffed Animals, Toiletry Items, or diapers. Please have items
pre-counted. Diapers are counted per diaper towards your total. Have contestants name and age on the box or bag of items. We ask each contestant to bring at least one item for donation. All items must be new! ALERT – just added we will be taking baby blankets for the childhood heart disease foundation – please bring as many as possible !
Deadline for T shirt orders are : February 13 - if you did not specify a shirt and are 9 and older a size adult small will be added and due at registration. Required for interview is mint green with Kentucky outline on the back. The T shirt designs are on www.MissKentuckyBluegrass.com and can be paid via credit card there as well. We are also taking pre-orders for Glam Bears, Bows Pearls & Bluegrass Girls tee, and rhinestone logo shirts, if you would like to order. All would be available at registration.

Other pageant weekend FYI and Notes

·  Only cash or credit card accepted at the pageant- no exceptions.

·  You are only guaranteed a program book if you pre-ordered one. You can still add a program until Feb. 13th by emailing the contestant name, age, and how many books. Every contestant will appear in the book along with their sponsor page. There will not be many extras if any at the pageant.

·  Tickets can be added until Feb. 13 by emailing the contestant name, age, and how many tickets needed @ $15. Will be $20 at the door if not preordered. Child tickets 0-5 Free, 6-12 $5

·  We will have staff available back stage with the girls to assist them. The girls may leave the dressing area with the permission of a parent only and with a parent only. There is also a large restroom if you elect not to let your daughter use the provided dressing area. This applies to 9 and older only. Girls 1-8 years may have one adult with them in the dressing area.
