Spa Manager of the Year

This award recognises a manager who has created a successful spa through a professional approach, with great customer service and quality in all aspects, and a range of services and packages to appeal to customers.

Eligibility

The nominated female must be the owner or manager of a Spa based in Scotland. The female must take an active role in the management of the Spa. Please show this in the information below.

Application process

Entries must include a completed entry form with the details requested, and information to explain why you should win. Please consider the judging criteria given to help you provide suitable information. Please assume that the judges know nothing about you, your role and your company. You can send supporting information in addition to the entry form.

All entries must be emailed to by 5pm on Friday 21st July 2017.

The awards are free to enter. All information provided in your entry will be kept confidential.

Additional information for associated publicity

If you are named on the short list for this category, we will require a high resolution photograph of the nominee in jpg format, and a high res jpeg or png of your company logo.

Awards Ceremony

A short list of up to 4 companies will be announced for each category, and we would ask all shortlisted companies to purchase tickets for the Awards Dinner on Tuesday 19th September 2017 at the Hilton Doubletree in Glasgow, where we will announce and present the winner with her award.

Friday 21st July 2017 (5pm): closing date for completed entry forms

Wednesday 9th August 2017: shortlist announced

Tuesday 19th September 2017: awards presented at black tie Awards ceremony

Judging criteria

Judges will look at what you have done with the Spa and what success means for you.

·  What have you done to make the Spa successful?

o  Eg innovation in style, service or product, excellent customer service, employee satisfaction

o  Community or charity work linked to your job?

o  Environmental and sustainability?

o  People development and job satisfaction?

o  What has changed since you were in charge?

·  How do you qualify success? What is success to you for this Spa?

o  Give evidence of you showing best practice, innovation or creativity Eg financial benefit, visitor numbers, awareness, changes to structure or working practices, staff morale

o  Please qualify this if possible eg figures, testimonials
