Online information for new and returning employees


New employees need to complete there address, directory listing, direct deposit and W-4 forms must be on line. Returning and current employees should review and updated at least annually.

ESS:

ESS provides employees with direct access to personal information and allows employees to make confidential changes in a secure, controlled environment.

Job Profile: Confirm for accuracy.

Address: Go to the address tab and enter at least a permanent address and emergency contacts. Also, set up directory listing.

Earnings: Set up direct deposit. Note: if you change your bank at any time, your next pay will be made by check which you will need to pick up in the Robinson Center at the Front Reception desk. After that one pay period by check, the following pay will be sent to the new bank.

Taxes: Update your online W-4 with withholding allowances. The update is immediate and will be reflected on the next paycheck. Links are provided with helpful information about withholding requirements. This form is required by the Internal Revenue Service. As an employer, the UW must withhold the correct Federal income tax from your pay.

Insurance: Confirm for accuracy. Not applicable for hourly employees.

Retirement & Savings: Confirm for accuracy. Not applicable for hourly employees.

Vacation & Sick Leave: Confirm for accuracy. Not applicable for hourly employees.
