My Disney Career provides robust search capabilities allowing you to personalize your job search experience and discover career opportunities throughout the company. No matter where your story with The Walt Disney Company began, it can continue with the many opportunities you can explore on My Disney Career.
1. Resource Center – Create your profile and upload your resume. Track the status of any submitted applications, view communications, search for events being offered by the Human Resources team, and connect with colleagues.
2. Open Positions – Browse for open jobs locally or globally to explore open positions that may interest you.
3. Quick Search and Advanced Search – Choose a method to locate and apply to jobs that interest you.
4. Refer A Friend – Learn more about referring a friend.
Explore Open Positions
Explore
Locate jobs by browsing open positions or using the powerful search features of My Disney Career. Write the next chapter of your Disney story with the great tools My Disney Career offers to assist with your search. As more sites around the world begin to use My Disney Career you may view additional locations to continue your story.
1. Click Open Positions or Global Positions to view positions by job category, location, or business.
· Open Positions displays local open positions
· Global Positions displays positions around the world
Note: Click a hyperlink to display a list of positions meeting the selected criteria (refer to the Search Results section of this guide to learn more).
2. The Browse Jobs link at the top right of the screen displays the same options as Open Positions.
Explore Open Positions
Quick Search
Perform a quick search of the My Disney Career home screen by typing a keyword or Req ID.
1. Click the drop down arrow to search by Keyword or Req ID.
2. Type the keyword or Req ID for your search.
3. Click Search; a list of positions meeting the search criteria displays (refer to the Search Results section of this guide to learn more).
Advanced Search
Click the Advanced Search link on the My Disney Career home page if you would like more search criteria; a screen with additional search options displays.
1. Choose the criteria you wish to search for, such as Location, Business, or Job Category.
2. Click Search Jobs; a list of positions that meet the search criteria displays (refer to the Search Results section of this guide to learn more)
Apply to an
Open Position
Search Results Screen
View all the results of your search on this screen. Instantly update the results by adding or removing search criteria! Click the Job title to learn more about the job.
1. By default, search results are displayed by the most recent Posting Date to the oldest Posting Date. Click the dropdown menu next to Sort by to change the order in which the jobs are sorted.
2. Click the Job Title hyperlink to display the Job Details page, which displays more information about the job.
3. Click the [x] in the Current Search box to remove search criteria from your search.
4. Click a bolded word (Job Category, for example) in the Filter your results box to display additional criteria upon which you can filter your job search.
Apply to an
Open Position
Job Details
Review the job description and apply now or save it to review again later.
1. The Job details screen displays all information about the position, including Responsibilities, Basic Qualifications, and Preferred Qualifications. Review the position to determine your next course of action.
2. Click Apply to job to submit your application. Answer a series of questions to complete your profile and upload your resume (if you have not already done so). Answer any additional questions to determine your eligibility for the job.
3. Click Save to cart if you are undecided about whether you wish to apply at this time. Easily find the position in your cart in your personal dashboard (refer to the Resource Center Dashboard section of this guide to learn more).

Track Your Application
Navigate to your Dashboard to check application status and any related communication once you have applied to a position. From your dashboard you can also find out more information about jobs you have saved to your cart or any events you have registered for.
1. Edit Profile Info / Edit Resume/CV – Click the edit profile info hyperlink to edit your contact information, including name, phone number, and email address. . Click the Review Saved Drafts hyperlink to review draft applications that have been saved and not yet submitted.Click the edit hyperlink next to your resume/CV to edit an existing resume/CV or create a new one.
2. Application Status & Communications – Track the status of any applications you have made, along with any communications. Click the dropdown menu next to Choose Job to review the status on all jobs you have applied to. Click the hyperlink under Link to Details to view communication details.
3. Job Cart – Lists any jobs you may have saved to your job cart. The job cart is a place where you can save jobs you are interested in but do not have time to submit an application to at that moment.
4. Your Invitations & Events – Track events that you have signed up for or have been invited to. An example of an event is a job fair or presentation for a particular Line of Business.

Networking through My Disney Career
Networking is a great way to meet others who share similar career interests to yours. Build your professional network to forge relationships that can help you throughout your career, especially when you are looking to find out more about different opportunities within The Walt Disney Company.
1. Click Connect; a screen displays with information to enable you to build your network through Event Search and social media resources like LinkedIn and Facebook.
2. Click the Event Search icon to view job events, presentations, or conferences. You can attend events to network with individuals within your field or use them to meet new people in other fields!
3. Click the LinkedIn icon to connect with other Cast Members who are in your network, new hires, and promotions/changes.
Refer a Friend
Referring Friends for a Career with Disney
Referring a friend to one of the great career opportunities offered by The Walt Disney Company is as easy as the click of a button! Our external career site, DisneyCareers.com, allows you to locate and share jobs with friends who may be interested.
1. Click Get Started in the Refer A Friend section of the My Disney Career home page; the Search Jobs window on the external career portal, DisneyCareers.com, will display.
2. Choose the criteria you wish to search for, such as Location, Business, or Job Category, and click Search Jobs. A list of positions that meet the search criteria displays.
3. Click a Job Title to learn more about it.
4. If you’d like to share the job posting with a friend, click Send to Friend at the top of the job posting window and provide the information requested to forward the posting to a friend.
5. Inform your friend to indicate you referred them for the position when he or she is submitting an application for the job.
