FRIDAY, 15TH JULY
6.30 pm. VII Children's Moors and Christians Fair, in Paseo Lluís Vives (opposite bar Maties). Games, juggling, entertainment, contests and more for the little ones and children of all ages and teens.
SATURDAY, 16TH JULY. PROCLAMATION OF CHARGES
10.00 pm. Announcement of Captains, Ambassadors and Flag bearers in Parc de l´Estació. To close the ceremony, there will be fireworks.
SUNDAY, JULY 17TH. FESTIVE MUSIC CONCERT
8.30 pm. Concert-Festival of Festive Music in Parc de l´Estació.
THURSDAY 21st JULY: FESTIVAL OPENING SPEECH, DAY OF THE MUSICIANS AND THE “PUTXERO” (STEW) NIGHT.
8 pm. Festival Proclamation from the Town Hall balcony, to start the 2016 Festival, attended by the Authorities.
Music bands parade from the Town Hall to the Parc de l´Estació where they will play the pasodoble “Oliva 1990” by Miquel Villar.
Harquebusier shots, Captains and Ambassadors.
String of fireworks and hoisting of the Christian flag at the castle.
00.30 am: After having Putxero (typical stew) for dinner at the càbiles and casals (Moors and Christians stations), it will be an “Informal Parade” with the participation of those who want to join the party by the following route: Avenida Loygorri and Paseo Joan Carles I.
The party will go on until early in the morning at the càbiles and casals.
FRIDAY 22ND JULY: CHRISTIAN PARADE DAY
08.00 am. General awakening with fire and band music beginning at the Castle from the Parc de l´Estació and following through the streets of Oliva.
08.00 pm. Spectacular Christian Parade in the following order:
Parade opening.
· Filada Corsaris.
· Filada Jaume I.
· Filada Mosqueters.
· Filada Masers.
· Filada Pirates.
· Filada Contrabandistes (Filada Christian Captain 2014).
They will go through the following streets: Rinconada de les Ermites, Carretera Gabriel Ciscar, Avenida Loygorri, Paseo Joan Carles I, Paseo Lluís Vives ending at the Municipal Market.
The party will go on in the morning at the different càbiles and casals.
SATURDAY 23RD JULY: MOOR LANDING, EMBASSY DAY AND MOOR PARADE.
02.00 am. A great Orchestra will add charm to the party at the "Mitja Galta" (Pau-Pi Beach) until the Moors Landing.
06.00 am. Moors Landing at Mitja Galta Beach with a spectacular firework set piece and harquebusier. Harangue of the Moor Captain, Courier and Moor Embassy, with resultant battle between Moors and Christians. Moors Conquest. There will be amazing surprises... enjoy it!
7.00 pm. Spectacular Moor Parade in the following order:
Parade opening.
· Filada Tuareg.
· Filada Marraqueix.
· Filada Almoràvits.
· Filada Taifes.
· Filada Mudéjars
· Filada Moriscos. (Filada Moor Captain 2016).
Itinerary: Rinconada de les Ermites, Carretera Gabriel Ciscar, Avenida Loygorri, Paseo Joan Carles I, Paseo Lluís Vives ending at the Municipal Market.
SUNDAY 24TH JULY: FRATERNITY DAY, CHRISTIAN RECONQUEST AND THE END OF FESTIVITY.
7.30 pm. Children Parade through the following streets with music bands and float: Av. Loygorri , Joan Carles I, Lluís Vives and Jaume I ending at the Municipal Market.
8.15 pm. Reconquest Parade. Departure of the Moors and Christians from Paseo Rei Jaume I following through Paseo Lluís Vives, Paseo Joan Carles I, Avenida Loygorri, Pare Antoni Salelles and entry to the castle.
Castle Reconquest. Harangue of the Christian Captain, Courier to the Moor band and Christian Embassy, with resultant battle between Moors and Christians. Christian Reconquest.
00.30 am. Spectacular fireworks and ending of the festivities.
