TECHNOLOGY GRANTS FOR PRE K—12 TEACHERS

The Northeast Region of MSTA will award up to 5 Technology Grants of $1,000 annually each to be used for classroom technology materials. These technology grants are to award our membership for excellence in teaching and to help further the accessibility of technology materials for the classroom. To be eligible, applicant(s) must be a full-time certified educator(s), and member(s) of the Northeast Region MSTA and local CTA. Members of the NE Region Executive Committee are not eligible to apply.

Local CTAs will review and select grant application(s) to be forwarded to the Northeast Region Executive Committee. Each CTA may submit number of grant applications according to these guidelines: 1 grant per 1-200 local CTA members; 2 grants per 201-399 local CTA members; 3 grants per 400 & more local CTA members. The grant application(s) must be signed by the applicant, and endorsed by the CTA president, and applicant’s principal.

The applicants selected to receive the technology-grants will be notified after they are selected.

The winner or a representative must be present at the annual TEPS Meeting to receive the grant check.
