Mis vacaciones en… con Prezi
A Prezi brings together photographs, written clues, and your oral narration to show your understanding of a topic and to help others learn about your topic when they view your Prezi. For your Spanish 2 Unidad 6 project, you will create a Prezi that will tell about/show your best vacation.
#1 Write the narration
You will be creating a real life or fictional story about your vacation. Write down the information that will be of interest and relevance to your audience; you will want to include dates, names, and important events that happened. Once you have created or written an outline for your story, you are ready to practice your narration.
Create a folder on your H drive for this project. NAME THIS FOLDER SPANISH UNIT 6. You can create subfolders for narration and image files if you would like, but everything to be used in the Photo Story should be stored inside one master folder. Save your narration to the folder. SAVE the narration as “YOUR NAME narration.”
Read over your narration.
a. Practice reading your story on your own before your presentation to the class.
b. Think about images that you will need to support your narration.
#2 Collect Photos/Images
Collect Images that reinforce the ideas that you are talking about in your narration. You are required to include at least 3 different images. These may include personal photographs that you have at home or images from other sources. Decide which pictures you will use for each part of the narration. Places to look for photographs and images:

Save these photos to the folder SPANISH UNIT 6 in your H drive
#3 Prezi
You will need to sign up for a “public prezi” account at www.prezi.com. You will need to enter your name (real or fake, but let me know if fake) and a real email account.
To create a project:
Follow Prezi’s tutorial guidelines and look at other Prezis, to get ideas for your own. Add your pictures from step 2. Add a basic outline from step 1. DO NOT write your complete narration in your Prezi. The Prezi is a guide for you to follow with your memorized oral narration.
Save your project to the SPANISH UNIT 6 folder on your H drive.

Presentational Task: Rúbrica para el Prezi
Using grammar and vocabulary from Unit 6, create a Preziy that details a vacation that you took in the past. Highlight summer/beach activities that you participated in.
Main page:
· Includes name, hour, date.
· Includes a title including the location (in Spanish). (“Las Vacaciones” is always plural…)
· Includes a picture, or graphic of some sort
9 fotos/ dibujos:
· The pictures fill the page nicely, are in color and if artwork/ clip-art is used, it is of superior quality.
9 oral sentences (1 per picture) that describe what happened in the picture:
· At least 1 sentence correctly employs a direct object pronoun. (Your clarifying sentence written with the direct object should be written in the previous sentence.)
· At least one sentence uses the superlative structure correctly (What was the prettiest beach? The most dangerous activity? Go beyond these suggestions!)
· 9 DIFFERENT correctly conjugated preterit verbs (1/ foto): ***At least three of these verbs are irregular preterit!
