Michael Forbes is Corporate Supply Chain Director at Northrop Grumman. In this role, Mike is responsible for driving Northrop Grumman’s Supply Chain vision with best internal practices as well as benchmarks from Industry and Academia.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, as a Director of Supply Chain Management, Mike established high performing Supply Chain Organizations with Raytheon Company Operating Units in Garland, Texas and Marlborough, Massachusetts.

Mike began his career as college hire for TRW and worked 21 years in Space and Technology Group in key supply chain, contracts and operations positions. Mike graduated from Michigan State University receiving a B.A. in Material and Operations Management. Mike also earned an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, completed the APICS Certification Program with California State University, Dominquez Hills and has attended Strategic and Leadership Development Programs at UCLA and University of Chicago.

Mike is a member of the Michigan State University Supply Chain Council and serves on the University of San Diego Supply Chain Management Institute advisory board. Mike is a Certified Professional in Supply Management and is a Member of the Charter Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).
