Representative of the Public Works Department will discuss hikes to fees on sidewalks and solid waste disposal which will get a public hearing on May 27. The first ordinance hikes sidewalk installation fees. The second sets up a permitting system for private solid waste hauling and disposal. The third creates a “pavement degradation recovery fee” to be collected when builders and utility companies use the public right of way.
