Me, Myself, and I: A Character Collage

This exercise is to help you to introduce yourself to me. On the following page you will find a “character collage” that looks like a larger image of this –

At this point everyone in the class looks alike! I want you to let me know what makes you unique! You will use Words, Quotes, important Events, and Images in your life to help me distinquish you from everyone else.

Directions;

1. Use the blank line above the image to identify yourself. This is where you will use the name you want me to use in class PLUS your last name.

2. Use four words that describe you. Try to choose words that really represent the person that you are.

3. Use the double set of lines on either side of the image to write two brief quotes, yours or someone else’s, that give some insight into who you are.

4. On the long line at the bottom, create a timeline of your life. The left end of the timeline is your birthday (month, day, and year). The right end of the timeline is NOW! On the line place two events that are important to you. These might be things that you did or that happened to you.

5. Somewhere on or around the figure create four images that express who you are. These may be hand drawn, computer generated, or cut our from another source.

6. You may add color or other touches to make this representative of YOU
