Monday / NO SCHOOL: Memorial Day
Tuesday / Work on green project:
-Public Art – Create a mural or public sculpture as an individual or group; creativity, complexity, and craftsmanship judged for group
-Clay Project –finish with painting or glazing techniques
-T-Shirt- design a shirt using tie-dye, painting, drawn, photo-collaged, or silkscreened techniques
-100 Photo Collage – develop a thematic collage using 100 or more photos using Photoshop or hand-organized method
-Light Painting – develop at least 5 different experiments with a min 20 photos each; at least 5 edits (one per experiment)
-Outdoor Photography – 4 shallow DOF macro, 3 HDR landscapes using Ex Comp bracketing, and 3 portraits w/reflectors and DOF/ bokeh.
-Craft Series – pick 3: tape painting, melted crayon, dot mandala, string art, nature printing, found object collage, etc.
Thurs: DUE: MP#4 Photoshoot – 200 photos
Fri: DUE: MP#4 10 Photo Edits / Demo & Practice – (outdoors, weather permitting) – landscape photography using exposure compensation and bracketing- creating HDR imagery / Work on final project
Return camera equipment / Demo & practice: creating a carved block for printing- design should have a good balance of dark/light. Create at least 5 different prints using experimentation of color and style.
FINAL PROJECT – Based on theme, research an artist that uses a similar theme, use some of that artist’s techniques in your work (emulate, do not copy) Project will be based on craftsmanship, fitting of theme, showing original content, and personal expression
