Assessing Targeted Interventions is a tool used when designing function-based support in a school for groups and individual students.
Instructions:
List the targeted interventions that are available in your school. Identify the maintaining consequence(s) within the program that are naturally available through program participation.
For example:
§ Small group instruction participation may offer peer and adult attention.
§ Study Hall may offer organizational skills and/or avoidance for aversive activities.
§ Recess options may offer avoidance for aversive social (peer) situations,
§ individualized support for organizational skills, and choice.
