Map Assignment – Louisiana Purchase/Lewis and Clark

1) Create a map of the United States that indicates the borders of territories and states from the early 1800s. U se the prov ided template.
2) Label the area acquired by the Louisiana Purchase
3) Label the Spanish, British and French, Canadian, and Mexican controlled territories
4) Label the Oregon Country, Indiana Territory , Michigan Territory, Mississippi Territory, Kentucky, Tenne s see, Ohio, Missouri Territory , the Great Lakes, New Or leans, St. Louis , Los Angeles
5) Label and date the Route of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the Route of the Zebulon Pike Expedition
6) Label the Ohio, Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi, Colorado, Snake, Yellowstone and Rio Grande Rivers
7) Include a Title, Key/Legend, and Compass
8) Maps must be clearly labelled and color coded for definition.
