Sure does feel like Football weather, now, right? Luckily, there isn't much football happening this Thursday.
As usual, I would like to keep updated with our Mansfield ASQ members. So I encourage all of you to email me if you will be changing your email address. And I also ask that if you are made aware of any Quality related local job opportunities, please pass those along to me (or a contact for my follow-up) to help our fellow members pursue their career. I've not heard of any local Quality jobs for several months. So let me know.
If you are thinking "Certification", dates for applications & exams are updated for 2014-15 below in Section 4.
October is National Manufacturing Month. So only appropriate that our ASQ section take a plant tour!
It has been about 12 years since Whirlpool last hosted a tour to the Mansfield ASQ section.
So hopefully most of you can find the time to make the trek to the western side of the Mansfield Section.
Janice Litz and I have been working on the details for the tour. A light dinner will be provided.

Don’t forget to clear your schedule and be SURE to attend Thursday’s ASQ tour at the Whirlpool facility in Marion, Ohio!
Our very own Joe Hildebrand & Janice Litz have assured us of a VERY interesting tour as well as some good food and socializing!
So forget about those MLB Playoffs or those College & NFL Football Games and take advantage of a tour of a large and busy factory.

9.) NOPA stands for the Northcentral Ohio Personnel Association. It has about 135 members
from Ashland / Richland and surrounding counties. NOPA is an affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
They meet at the Westbrook Country Club and begin at 11:30 am and end around 1:00 pm. The cost is $10 for NOPA members and $12 for guests.
